Lady AmyLady Amy smiles her politest thank you Accepts the heartfelt flower Not rehearsed it, but exhausted it Lady Amy remembers when flowers bloomed When she fluttered at the word “beautiful” To say Lady Amy was bitter would be a lie To her compliment givers she had no flavor Just an empty smile, with appreciative eyes The face given to the shop girl Handing out her free lotion She walks away with flower in ear He gave her flowers once And called her beautiful upon a time Her Ever After miss the company of Happily Lady Amy called home to let him know she wLady Amy
